Yoko Ono donated John Lennon’s songs. Musicians from around the world—including Green Day, R.E.M., U2, Christina Aguilera, The Black Eyed Peas, Big and Rich, Regina Spektor—donated covers. Instant Karma is part of AI’s global music activism project “Make Some Noise,” which aims to harness the power of Lennon’s solo songbook to inspire a new generation of activists to stand up for human rights. The 23 track double CD is available through Warner Bros, and this together with these great t-shirts are all raising awareness and funds for Amnesty International’s Campaign for Darfur.

Warner Bros Records will donate 80% of the proceeds to Amnesty International, the world’s largest grassroots human rights organization, and its campaign to focus attention and mobilize activism around the urgent catastrophe in Darfur, Sudan, and other human rights crises.
